It depends on whether the pets are from the same family or separate households! Here is how it works:

​From the Same Family: Yes, absolutely! If you have multiple pets in your household (such as two dogs, or a dog and a cat), I am more than happy to care for them together so they can stay with their best friend.

​From Separate Families: To ensure the highest level of care, safety, and a completely stress-free environment, I only host one guest family's dog at a time for Doggy Day Care. This means your dog will get my full, undivided attention and won't have to share their holiday with unfamiliar dogs!

Rain or shine, your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my absolute top priorities! Here is how we handle bad weather:

​For Dog Walking & Day Care: We will still head out for walks in light rain or drizzly weather (with plenty of towel drying and pampering afterward!). However, if the weather becomes extreme—such as torrential downpours, thunderstorms, or dangerous winter ice—we will adjust our plans. I will substitute long outdoor walks with fun indoor games, brain puzzles, and plenty of love and attention inside the house to keep them safe and stimulated.

​During Summer Heatwaves: If the pavement is too hot for sensitive paws, we will strictly avoid midday walks. Instead, we will focus on early morning or late evening strolls when it is cool, and spend the day relaxing in the shade with fresh water, cool mats, and gentle indoor play.

​For Cat & Small Pet Visits: Bad weather won’t stop me from checking in on your fur babies! I will always arrive to feed them, clean their spaces, and provide lots of cozy indoor companionship and play to make up for a gloomy day.

​Rest assured, if any severe weather requires a change to your dog's usual routine, I will always drop you a message to keep you fully updated!

I take the security of your home and your privacy incredibly seriously. When you entrust me with a house key for walks or pet visits, I follow strict safety protocols:

​🔒 Secure, Unmarked Storage: Your keys are kept safely in a secure container when not in use. I never attach your name, your pet's name, or your address to the key. Instead, they are organized using a private, secure coding system that only I understand.

​👤 Never Passed On: As the sole owner and provider of Libby's Pet Care, I am the only person who will ever handle or use your key. It will never be passed on to anyone else.

​🛡️ Fully Insured: For your ultimate peace of mind, my specialist private pet business insurance includes comprehensive "Loss of Keys" and lock replacement cover.

​We will arrange the collection and return of your keys during our initial free meet-and-greet session, or at a time that suits you best!
